Quiksilver Pro in Long Beach New York

The Quicksilver Pro New York is in town! The show kicked off last week and we should see a fun run of surf in the next few days with the world’s best ripping in our backyard! I am currently in Long Beach shooting all the fun events that Roxy has planned throughout the contest. I will update you a bit more on that later on. For now check out the preview of the event Surfline has up on their homepage by clicking the photo below. I am especially excited to have 3 of my photos run in this piece. These images are a bit offbeat for a surf feature (my kinda style); they really add a great depth in depicting where this contest is being held, NYC BABY!

I am a self-taught Brooklyn based photographer. Earning a BA in History allowed me to investigate the things that have occurred in the world of which I knew nothing about. In that same spirit, photography allows me to be curious about the world and what surrounds us.
