Satirical Blogging

by Brendan Buckley

We’ve been in Costa for a few days now, and everything has been so totally awesome! The waves have been sick, the hotel is sick, the crew is sick, and a lot of people in hospitals worldwide are probably sick too! Our hotel is, like, right on the beach. And the staff is, like, super friendly. Everything has been so sick (like, super sick), so, like, make sure to check back for more illnesses!

These three young gentlemen would find the paragraph above this photo to have a sufficient amount of sugar.

There are road signs in Costa Rica.

There are men standing on rocks, possibly fishing, too.

Chris Kelly's father is a motivational speaker by career. In his free time, he likes to tie knots. Here, young Christopher ties the knot between his rail and this wave (or some marginally sensible metaphor like that.)

It takes more than a few trees to make Zack Humphreys shy away from a rail turn.

I am gay.

Ryan, am I allowed to make an immature masturbation joke for this one?

They say when the sun sets in one place, it rises somewhere else. They also say that every 34 minutes, a baby swallows a nickel.

About Ryan Struck

I am a self-taught Brooklyn based photographer. Earning a BA in History allowed me to investigate the things that have occurred in the world of which I knew nothing about. In that same spirit, photography allows me to be curious about the world and what surrounds us. I enjoy saving poignant moments through a visual medium, documenting lifestyle often fulfills this need quite nicely. I love what I do. When not at home shooting I can be found traveling in search of surf and inspiring natural lighting. My desire to capture images that help viewers imagine the instant the shutter clicked fuels my passion to combine beautiful light, people and places.
